piano lessons with his mum soon after he could walk but when things didn't go to plan he quickly used his walking skills to take himself to another piano teacher
went on to learn a bunch of instruments including guitar, bass, percussion - studied the trumpet at uni
been involved in various musical ensembles such as classical orchestras, choirs, brass, jazz and stage bands, chamber and fusion groups. his preferred mode of musical communication, contemporary alternative aussie rock.
macca likes to write wearing his musical experiences on his hairy arms and the resulting fusion of styles dishes out a refreshing colour of sounds ready to appeal to those wanting a flavoursome bite in their alternative repertoire
in paris, hooking up with otway ross just made sense - macca sings, strums n thumps about with the rhythmic aspects, as well as providing splashes of colour here and there with his smorgasboard of wind and brass instruments.
